How to get clients fast

Pipelines are great. But what if you’re hurting and need sales now?
I’m not talking about Q4 pipeline forecasts or “warming up” cold leads.
I mean you’ve got payroll to meet and the pipeline won’t save you today.
Here’s what to do when you need revenue right now:
1. Reopen old conversations.
Proposals that didn’t convert? Deals that stalled? Ghosted leads?
People don’t say no — they just get distracted. Pick up the phone.
2. Ask for help — properly.
Call 10 past clients or people who rate your work.
Not to pitch. To ask:
“Who do you know that has [X problem] and needs help right now?”
This works better than cold outreach. Every. Single. Time.
3. Create a fast-win offer.
Not a big strategy deck.
Something fast, valuable and fixed price.
Audit. Workshop. Sprint. 5-day accelerator.
Make it easy to buy — and easy for your team to deliver.
4. Show up daily.
If you’re not visible, you’re invisible.
Post. Share. Comment. Not fluff — value.
What’s the #1 thing your dream client is worrying about? Say it out loud.
5. Mobilise your team.
Sales isn’t a solo job.
Your PM has a network. Your designer knows someone.
Give everyone a line and ask them to post, message or introduce one person.
This isn’t about pressure — it’s about momentum.

I’ve seen agencies land £75–150k in a matter of weeks by doing this.
It’s not magic.
It’s clarity, speed and collective effort.
What’s the one move that brought you sales when things got tight?
Drop it in the comments — I’ll share mine too.
